Inspector Registration
Membership for Property Inspectors and Termite Inspectors
A membership to BidDay includes a powerful marketing system that will notify inspectors of properties within a specified mileage range. As an inspector, you may register up to 25 different zip codes to service, each with up to a 20 mile range. As properties are listed with BidDay and match your area of service, BidDay will automatically alert you by email, text messages, or other wireless notices. After being notified, you simply log into BidDay and commit to the properties you choose to inspect. A job report for each property will be downloaded directly to your computer and be received by your inspection software. After completing each inspection, use your inspection software to export the file directly to BidDay's website. BidDay electronically deposits payments into your bank account. No invoices are required and you can track your completed jobs within your account.
 
Payment for Inspections
• Each inspection will have a due date or 5 day period to inspect. You may cancel the inspection within 24 hours, or else inspectors will be committed to completing that inspection.
• Each home inspection will have a set payment of $240 plus a required 3 minute video tour with a set payment of $50, (Totaling $290 for each home inspection report and video).
• Each termite inspector will have a set payment of $70, ($140 in California due to extensive reporting requirements).
 
Requirements to become a BidDay Member
1. Satisfy your state license requirements (If any are required)
2. Be property trained and qualified to perform home or termite inspections
3. Newly purchase or be currently using one of the BidDay's Preferred Software Providers (see registration below for links to each software provider’s website)
4. Home Inspectors will need to research and enter in their local utility companies (water, gas, electric) for each territory
5. It is FREE to register and requires a credit card to verify your identity. There is a one time membership registration of $10 that is charged “When You First Reserve A Property To Inspect”. A team member will manually review and approve your account.
 
Vacant with Lock Boxes, Flexible Schedules, and Grouped Jobs by Mileage
Since some properties listed with BidDay will be Bank Owned Properties, they will be vacant with (combination) lock boxes. Thus, there's no hassling with occupied owners schedules or "watchdog like" attitudes. BidDay will even group properties automatically by mileage, resulting in optimizing your time and effectiveness.
 
Register your Territory NOW
It is possible that your city, or the surrounding area, may have several thousand properties to inspect over a short period. You may register multiple zip codes to service a larger territory. When a volume of properties are assigned to BidDay, only registered inspectors using BidDay Preferred Inspection Software will be instantly notified. You must select to use or already be using compatible software with BidDay (See BidDay Preferred Software Vendors on registration page below).
 
Availability of Inventory
BidDay will be working with the Government as well as the largest Lenders, Banks, Investment Funds, Auction Companies, Asset Managers, Brokerages, and Financial Institutions in the nation and cannot predict nor guarantee where properties will be located. By registering with BidDay, we will be your marketing partner and notify you when properties are within the mileage ranges of the multiple zip codes you register. You may choose to travel anywhere in your state or other areas where licensed to service BidDay's inventory.
 
Being Ready is Key to Receiving Properties
Inspectors must realize that it may take a few weeks to become "ready" to receive properties. Being ready requires: Registration with BidDay, purchase inspection software/equipment/camera (you may already own software and laptops/handhelds), have electronics shipped; ensure your laptops and handhelds work well with your software, as well as becoming familiar with your software/camera. We are happy to answer your questions, and try to return calls within 48 hours, but with the heavy calls we may need to respond in a few days.
